ILJS is a collaborative effort among Buffalo's four liberal congregations: Beth Am, Beth
Zion, Sinai and Havurah. It promotes adult learning and collaboration among
synagogues by sponsoring an annual Scholar-in-residence spring kallah, as well as a
visiting scholar program in the fall at the Jewish community book fair.
