Marcel Hartwig

Physician (1851 - ca. 1935).   Born Hartwig Marcus in Austria.  Lived in Buffalo ca. 1878 to 1920.  Dr. Hartwig was an early advocate of the application of the scientific method to medicine.   His work included research in the treatment of knee injuries and pediatric kidney diseases.
