Jews Living in Germany

"All We Learn From History is That We Learn Nothing from History" - The Jews in Germany Today

The German population in 2022 is more than 84 million. About 0.15% of that population are Jews in some sense of that designation. Sixty percent of these so-called Jews are married to a non-Jew. Evidently, most German Christians have never seen a Jew. Nevertheless it is part of German culture to hate all Jews.

In recent years, 1,400 anti-Jewish crimes were recorded in Germany.

A survey in Germany found that 46% of the population viewed Jews unfavorably. Another survey shows that Germany exceeds France, England, and Russia in anti-Jewish beliefs.

Germans also portray themselves as the victims of the Nazi era, not the Jews. They claim that allied bombing of Germany in 1945 was inhuman, not the Nazi extermination of Jews. The true victims of the Second World War were Germans, not Jews, is another popular belief. Some even claim that poison gas used to kill Jews in gas ovens was the fault of the Jewish chemist Fritz Haber, whose work was instrumental in the weaponization of poison gas in the 1910’s. Most German Christians say they are tired of hearing complaints about Auschwitz and that Jews want to make money by demanding compensation for events that  occurred years ago.

In view of all this, it is hard to understand why any Jews have settled in Germany since the 1970’s. Indeed, the present German government is friendly towards the Jews now living there. Yet, it is probable that any depression, or widespread unemployment, or any other upheaval, will once more be blamed on the Jews in Germany. In the German democracy, the government may be changed any time on a vote of no confidence. This can easily result in a government seeking to persecute Jews once more. Therefore the Jews now living in Germany are risking mass murder yet again. The Jews in Germany want to believe that they are safe as long as Olaf Scholz, the Chancellor, is friendly to them. That is a huge mistake, as any convulsion can bring to power in Germany hatemongers who want to blame the Jews for all devious conditions.

What irrational beliefs. Building a Jewish “campus” will mean nothing when the next Hitler seeks the death of the stupid Jews who live in Germany today. Now is the time to get out before another Adolf kills the fools who will not learn from history.

May “Shem Yisborach” enlighten them and give them the insight to come to the United States or Israel before it is too late.

Shalom u’vracha.
