HAte, Murder And Suicide

The recent electoral “victory” of the Palestinian party Hamas over the Fatah party reminds us of the Nazi victory over their political rivals in the 1930’s. Both the Nazis of that day and the Hamas party of our day gained votes promising to kill Jews.

Hamas has already murdered over 400 Israelis by means of suicide or homicide bombers. Devoted to the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of its population, these elected killers are no partners in any discussion with Israel. No country on earth would negotiate with those seeking its destruction. Because no partner for peace negotiations can be found among the Palestinians, the Israelis have built a partial fence or wall to keep the murderers out. This fence was initiated by Ariel Sharon because Israel is forced to make unilateral decisions in view of Palestinian intransigence. The fence will eventually be 650 kilometers or 402 miles long. It has already been credited with reducing the number of “homicide killers” to a minimum.

Of course, the defeated party in the recent Palestinian elections, Fatah, is just as murderous as the Hamas gang. Therefore Israel has no choice but to act without consulting those who seek the destruction of the whole Jewish nation.

The security fence is not only important to keep the killers out. It is also a demarcation between Israel and the centers of Arab population living in the Arab occupied segments of Israel. This fence serves to insure a Jewish majority in Israel. The withdrawal from the Gaza strip in September 2005 had the same results in that it reduced the Arab population of Israel’s Jewish held territory by 1.5 million.

The election of the Hamas murder gang makes it clear that Israel must separate itself from the Palestinians, whose Fatah party differs little in its aims from Hamas. The Fatah party was founded by Yasser Arafat, the Egyptian immigrant to Israel, whose purpose was the destruction of the Jewish state. The current President of the Palestinian authority, Abbas, is no better that his predecessor. He wrote a dissertation at a Russian university denying the Holocaust. The Fatah party also includes the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, which is responsible for innumerable murders of Jews.

Therefore, it was to the advantage of Israel that Hamas won. No one can demand that any Israeli government negotiate with Hamas. The Israeli government under Ehud Olmert will have to make its decisions without any discussions with killers and murderers. Olmert has already ordered a speed up in building the fence and our President George W. Bush has already announced that we will not subsidize the Hamas gang with our money. It is to be hoped that the Europeans Union, so far the principal supporter of the Palestinian Authority, will also cut off all support for these successors to Hitler.

As could have been expected, the Fatah party and the Hamas party are, as of this writing, killing each other in the Arab occupied areas of Israel. Gangs of armed hoodlums of both parties are shooting at each other as we read this, thereby showing the world that no civilized people, let alone the “chosen people”, can deal with these demented murderers. Separation is the only answer, as foreseen by that great Jewish hero Ariel Sharon. His fate is now in the hands of God, but his name will be a blessing to all of Israel forever.

Shalom u’vracha.
