The Saranac Synagogue (officially Achei T'mimim Orthodox Synagogue) at 85 Saranac Avenue just north of Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo, was a Methodist church and Masonic temple before its purchase by the Anshe Zedek Synagogue in 1930.  Anshe Zedek, which was one of the predecessors of Temple Shaarey Zedek, sold the shul to the current congregation in 1952.
